Happy Halloween!!
Here is Cadence dressed up for trick or treaking at my work. She wasn't sure about all of the different people. But I love to show her off!!!PARENTING – WOW!!
Can you believe that Cadence is already 10 months old?!?!? It is amazing that life moves the way it does. 2 years ago I couldn’t imagine having a baby, and now I can’t imagine life without her. I am overwhelmed by the feelings of love and amazement of her.
What a MIRACLE!!
What a GIFT!!
What a REWARD!!
The emotions I feel about being a lucky mother are unexplainable!! I feel lucky to have such a great Mother also. It is hard to imagine that I am loved the way I love my child. Not only by my wonderful parents but by our Heavenly parents! I can only imagine the pain, heartache, joy and pride that Heavenly Father felt when his son was sent to earth. He must have loved each and every one of us, his children, to do such an act!
How lucky are we? Well, let me tell you!! More than anything! Day to day life easily makes us forget the important things in life.
"We are out of milk."
"How will we pay for this bill?"
"I can’t believe they said that"
"Why can’t we afford this?"
WOW, I say those things all of the time! But they don’t even matter one bit! When you think why we were put on earth, why we have family, why we are lucky to know the people we know. Those unimportant things seem so, silly! I have decided to do an overhaul of the priorities I have. I realize that it is going to be difficult, but, I know I will be happier. Honestly, it will probably be a HUGE job that will take a very long time, but I think it is time to start. Even start with small things like family, church. Then bigger things like, money, home cleanliness, etc... Well, wish me luck!!
Back to Cadence ;o)
She is doing so many fun things! Instead of crawling, she likes to scoot on her bum. She loves to say MMMMMA MA MA! She loves to play peek-a-boo, and loves to be chased by Daddy. She likes tasting new things like the wall, dishwasher, and couch! She likes to pull herself up on things like the couch, wall and garbage can, EEW! One of her favorite things is when she hears music! She loves to Dance! And man oh man is it cute! She will stop whatever she is doing to bounce to the music. So, I suppose her name fits! She likes taking baths and is so fearless in the tub! She slips and slides around until it scares her, haha! She has learned to waive hi and bye. In fact this morning I dropped her of at Lisa’s house and while I was chatting, Cadence looked at me and waived bye, HAHA! She was excited to get to playing at the babysitters and decided it was time for me to leave. She now has almost 2 teeth on the bottom. One is all of the way out and the other is almost out. She still won’t let me get a picture of them! She is still a picky eater when it comes to baby food, but will eat until she is sick when it comes to table food. Sleeping? HAHAHA!! Well, I guess she isn’t a horrible sleeper, but she does wake up often. She can’t sleep without her binky and her Minnie (a small silky Minnie toy/blanky). She used to play with my hair to relax, but she has learned that she also has hair and stretches her tiny arm all of the way up to get it. She shakes her head no, and I am pretty sure she knows what it means because she does it when I try to give her gross baby food or change her diaper. Ryan and I love her so much and are so lucky to be her parents. I am happy she chose us!!
