Me and Brandy took pictures of Cadence and Kambria (her cousin 10 days older than Cadence). I think they turned out awesome!! Thank you Brandy for your help!!

Cadence is almost 3 months old now. WOW how time flies! She smiles all of the time and loves to talk to her mommy and daddy! She is so alert with her big eyes, I always wonder what is going on in that little head. She even likes to watch cartoons now! YAY!

2 Month Dr Appointment

Cadence had her 2 month appointment and she had to get her shots :( I hated watching it! She was so sad! I have never seen her cry like that. She was sore all night long. The only thing that calmed her down was a bath, but by then her poor little eyes were all read and swollen.

Cadence is so sweet and fun! She is getting so big. She weighs 9 lbs 2 oz and is 21 inches long. She is growing so fast and doing so many new things like Coo'ing, smiling, and crying different for different things. She even looks different every day. We are so happy to have her and couldn't be happier.

Here are some new pics of the most beautiful baby girl!! We love her so much! We kinda went overboard on the pics. But I can't chose a favorite. :o)

FOUR WEEKS OLD

Holy Cow! I can't believe that Cadence is already a month old! It is going by so fast! Yesterday I was storing all of her Preemie clothes because she is too big for them (But the newborn clothes are still a little big HAHA). I was crying because she is changing and growing so fast! It just makes me realize that I need to cherish every moment I have with her!

Ryan is so cute with her! He calls her his little monster because she FARTS like a monster. When he gets home the first thing he wants to do is hold her. I am so proud of what a good Dad he is to her! I love them both so much and am so blessed to have such wonderful family!!

Our new addition

Cadence was born on December 31st 2008 at 5:35 am. She was 5 pounds 10 ounces and 18 inches long.

My water broke on the 30th at 4:30 pm while I was taking a nap (but that sure woke me up). I woke up Ryan and he was so excited!!! After being admitted to the hospital for a few hours they FINALLY found a vein to start the IV. Then I got the WONDERFUL epidural and finally got to relax. Because I wasn't progressing on my own, they gave me pitocin to make me progress more. Not much happened from then until about 2 am. I finally dilated to an 8 around 3 am and they called in the DR. Before the Doctor came in the nurse checked me one more time and said that she was about an inch and a half away from coming out! WOW!! So, in comes the Doctor and after 8 quick pushes she came out. SHE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!! It was an awesome experience! Ryan, my mom and my sister Natalie were all there and were so helpful!!
